What do we wear!?

Couples often feel a bit overwhelmed by the idea of choosing an outfit (or outfits) for their session. We want to help make the choice a little easier for you, so check out a couple of these ideas from previous couples, but also keep these three things in mind:

1)Be comfortable! Sorry guys, that doesn't mean athletic shorts and a white T. Wear something you feel fabulous in! It will show in your photos!

2)Be yourself.  Don't try to be someone you aren't.  These photos are about showing off how special you two really are.  Personality is EVERYTHING!

3)Be confident. It is perfectly okay to pick two outfits that are more on the casual side, or two that are both more formal. Many couples like the idea of choosing one of each, so that you get a greater selection of photos when the full gallery is complete! A more formal outfit selection allows a couple to feel confident, while a more casual outfit tends to help the couple feel more like themselves:) It is completely up to you!

A few things to keep in mind...

--->Solids: Solid colors often look the best. Many prints and stripes tend to be distracting, and you really want the focus of the photo to be on you two!

--->Classic: You will have these portraits forever! Try to stay away from trendy. Neutral, classic colors are always a great choice! Lighter colors tend to offer a brighter, airier gallery when your photos are returned to you! You don't want to get tired of these portraits hanging on your wall, simply because you picked the trendiest top or dress in your closet!

--->Coordinate: Try to pick pieces that coincide with what your partner is wearing! Be careful not to be too matchy, matchy though! For example, different shades of one color always work great together!

--->Comfort: No one likes trying to be something their not...and your pictures will show it! In the end, choose something that your body will love you for! If you don't feel your best in it, its not the right choice for your photo shoot!

--->Options: Bring a few different options to your shoot! You'll most definitely have time to change, and you just might change your mind when you get to the location!

As always, let me know if you have any questions at all!
